We started the day out on a late start. We finally got up and got around and I kept telling Morgan that we were going to see the zebras so she kept pointing at her pajamas that had pajamas. She got a little upset when we didnt go right away.
After we finally got ready we headed over to Glorias (recommendation from my uncle who lives in Dallas). It was delicious and such a beautiful day to sit outside
We took a trip to the zoo and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we went. We waited 1.5 hrs just to park! Thats just from the time we got off the exit till we parked (that time didnt even include when we left the hotel). It was crazy traffic and we really thought about on many occasions to turn around but I also knew my sweet little girl wanted to see the animals so we sat in the traffic just for her.
After the zoo, we headed out to Steak N Shake. We got some good ole whole milk (its amazing how many restaurants only have 1%, but not whole milk). She was being a little daddys girl and only wanted to sit beside daddy.
After that we headed over to the American Girl doll store which just fascinated Morgan and she didnt want to leave. If you have never heard about it before, its a store that only sells dolls and all kinds of accessories to go with it. Its unreal to see what all you can buy for a doll.
We got up and went to Dennys thinking that would be a good idea. Well the food wasnt very good and we kind of regretted that decision. We did of course get some good entertainment under the table.
Not long after we left we figured out that the DVD player broke and then Morgan took a 40 min nap. So it was a very long road trip home but we survived. We took pictures to entertain.
We finally made it back and we were all glad to finally be back home. Morgan of course wanted to ride around in her babys stroller.
That concludes our trip to the great state of Texas.
