The Big D (aka Dallas)-Part 1

For Spring Break, we took a trip to The Big D or better known as Dallas, Texas. We wanted to go somewhere different than we had gone and do something fun for Morgan as well. The trip didn’t go quite as planned as we had hoped because both Chad and I both ended up getting some bug. I got sick going over to Dallas and Chad got sick coming back. We still really are not sure what it is, but luckily we are all well now.

March 10-Saturday-very cold!
We drove to Dallas and stopped by a park on our way over. Morgan threw a fit to leave. Lesson learned-don’t stop at a park inbetween because your child wants to play at the park-not stay in the car!

Morgan loved having grandmas iPad for the trip.

Finally got to the hotel. We sat in traffic for over an hour to get barely a mile-ugh! One of the many reasons I’m not a fan of big cities.

We went and tried out Inn-N-Out burger which was delicious and Morgan loved it too!
March 11-Sunday-pretty cold day!
We went to visit IKEA which is loads of fun but it takes hours to go through it. If you have never been, its definitely a must. My favorite reason is that I can do some shopping and they have kid stations in-between for the little ones.
After we left, she passed out pretty quickly
We came back to the hotel, chilled and Morgan thought it would be funny to take away daddys phone and play on it
Morgan got to take a bath in the big bathtub and she thought it was the best. I had a few toys that I brought and a plastic cup from the hotel that we played with.

I decided to split up these posts into two days with so many pictures. Check back tomorrow for the rest of the trip to Dallas with the fun of Monday and the zoo (I’m still sorting through all of those pictures). Techy Thursday (with some new apps) will return next week.
