Toddler Tuesdays-Marshmallows

Im linking up today with Jennifer at Life in the Green House each week for Toddler Tuesdays. I always enjoy going to her blog and have gotten lots of ideas and just enjoy her writing. I look forward to getting ideas from other moms for ideas to do with Morgan. This challenge I hope will help me to keep true to my challenge to myself to do at least one craft/activity with her every week.

I have a few different boards on Pinterest that always help me to constantly have some new ideas as well such as a Kid Activity, Kid Learn, and then a Kid Food.

I got the inspiration for doing the marshmallow from Pinterest.

Morgan seemed to really get into the marshmallows and I was pleasantly surprised how much fun she had. If I had it do over again I would only do small and medium marshmallows. The large ones just didnt work out so well. My sweet little girl of course had to eat a few while doing it also. She was very serious when she was doing it and had to concentrate on doing it.

What you need: Marshmallows (I choose colored ones-small mixture, one bag of gingerbread marshmallows, and then the large strawberry ones), toothpicks.

What you do: It was a simple, easy craft that kids of about any age could do and have fun doing it. All you have to do is get them to stick the marshmallow into the toothpick. If you want to add a little more you can make a little tower with them (we did not do that).

  1. You are such a fun Mama! She looks SO focused and serious, I love it! I hope I can remember to dig up fun ideas like this when my Morgan gets old enough!

  2. I love this! I’m just getting caught up but this is a great idea and I think BK would love it too! Also, I usually view your blog in Google Reader but I clicked over from your link today and I love the design! So cute!
