Life with the Wallaces

a look back at 2011….

Well I decided that Im going to officially end the December photo project and its on to the New Year! Last year I did a quick review of the year and thought it was a great idea and so with the New Year comes another review of how 2011 went.

January-Mommy had her first night at home without daddy since they had a deacon retreat. I was a bit terrified but she slept pretty good I must admit. MSU was in a bowl Game and we won! We got to watch it from home.

February– I celebrated my {gasp} 30th birthday and no longer can say Im 20 anymore. Morgan got to experience her first trip to the park and she was loving the swing.

March-We took Morgan to her first trip to the zoo. She wasnt quite sure what to think of it.

April-we celebrated Morgans first Easter

May-big month!
Morgan celebrated her first birthday! Its still hard to believe that her first birthday is already over with and before long we will be celebrating her 2nd.
I got to celebrate my first Mothers Day (Morgan was born 3 weeks shy of Mothers day last year),
Morgan got to go to the Canton Flea Market for the 2nd time.
We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary

June-Went to Destin,  and Atlanta. We finally ended our nursing-loved every moment but thought it was finally time. Morgan got extremely sick and had to have an IV. I thought I was about to go crazy since Chad had just left to go to Atlanta that morning. It was a crazy weekend.

July-we enjoyed our 2nd trip to the beach, but this time it was to Gulf Shores before I had to head back to work from getting the summer off.

August-I went back to work after getting to enjoy 10 weeks off for the summer (being a teacher definitely has its benefits!). Morgan got bit for the first time at daycare.

September-Chad turned 32 this year. It was 2 years ago this month that we found out we were expecting Morgan (still hard to believe).

October-Morgan made her first batch of pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for school. We had so much cooking.
We took Morgan on her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch.
Her first time to finger paint. She wasnt sure what to expect with this messy stuff but now loves it.

November-We celebrated Morgans 2nd Thanksgiving in Alabama with Chads side of the family.

December-We officially opened the doors on our first business-yogurt shop. Its been a huge move but one God has truly blessed us with and we could not be happier about.
Morgan got to be in her 2nd Christmas play as an angel.
Morgan celebrated her 2nd Christmas
We got to do the Jesse Tree. Morgan was still a little young for it but I think its setting the stone.
