December Photo ProjectOn Saturday morning when we were in Birmingham, Morgan allowed us to sleep until 9:30 am. I really dont think she has ever slept that late in her little life but when there is a first for something it sure did come at a great time! We both slept great and well Morgan she might have slept better than us.

We expected our little wake up call from Morgan to come about 7:30-8:00 when she normally wakes up so we could get up to the hotel for visitation hours to see Chads grandmother. Waking up at 9:30 and then having visitation starting at 10, we slipped some clothes on and said we would come back and take lovely showers later. When we got up to the hospital they had some other family there that lived in Birmingham and they were in the room. We had to wait until they got out since there was only a max of 2 people at a time. While we were waiting around this is what we passed the time and did

She loved to go back and down the hall between the drink machine and then back to the waiting area.

When visitation was over we went and chatted with the family and Chads grandfather and a few minutes later the nurse came out and said she was being moved (huge praise!). She was now getting out of ICU and getting a regular room! Of course we waited around, called the other family and told them and they decided to come up.

Makayla sure is one proud cousin!

We ended up leaving and letting Chads grandfather get some sleep and relaxation after seeing her really awesome room! We went around to a few places in Birmingham, let Morgan take a nap, and took some wonderful showers.

We then met up with all the rest of the family and headed out to eat at Sweet Bones Alabama. It was pretty good but the best thing was definitely the cajun shrimp-delicious! Morgan and Makayla got to play on the little fireplace (was not lit) right behind us. It was great for entertaining a toddler at dinner.

one of her presents from her other cousins, aunt and uncle. We got to have a tea party in the hotel room
