Life with the Wallaces

pumpkin + chocolate=fun

So tonight Morgan and mommy got in the kitchen to cook Morgan some muffins for her first ever Halloween party. I decided that I would try this recipe I pinned a while back on Pinterest. I thought this recipe cant be that good something has to be missing. I mean how could a recipe be delicious with only two ingredients? Well Im here to say this recipe lives up to it!

Pumpkin Chocolate chip muffins
1 can of pumpkin
1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (this was an addition we made)
powdered sugar
(No eggs, no butter, no oil-the above is it)

Bake at 350 for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

My little helper put the liners down into the muffin pan. She of course wanted to help remove the liners as well.
Then we had to add in the yellow cake mix and pumpkin
She had so much fun stirring the pumpkin and cake mix together
Mom-what are these little things? They look good and my size
Yeah mom these are pretty good.
The fun part was when we added them in and she wanted to take them out because she enjoyed the little chips so much.

Then we had to put the muffins in the tin. Getting Morgan to not take the liners out was a fun task.
Our finished product. It made 40 muffins. Its a really good thing these are not staying around-wow they are good and very addictive.
