Ive had a recipe blog for a while and for a while now I never honestly use it. This week I decided to participate with Tuesdays at the Table and share the new recipe that was delicious last night.
I always love to find new recipes and I have a ton of them pinned on Pinterest. So many that we will never get to try all of them but Im trying to step out and try a new one so that we don’t fix the same thing each week. So without further ado-this recipe is simple, easy and delicious! This recipe really tastes a little like a good hamburger steak topped with tater tots.
Tater Tot Casserole
1 lb ground beef
5 oz cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom/chicken soup (its a new one that combines both flavors into one)
1 15 oz bag of tater tots (I used the crispy crowns that are a little shorter)
1/2 yellow onion
ground beef ( I did not cook the meat before placing in the oven)
cream of chicken/mushroom
Bake at 375 for 50 minutes. It should be nice and bubbly. If you want to speed up cooking time, cook meat beforehand and it would reduce time to probably 25-30 minutes.
Next time I will probably add some type of veggie (corn, peas, etc) to make it a little healthier.
