Life with the Wallaces

Gulf Shores {Day 1-July 27}

We started out on our early trip to Gulf Shores on Wednesday July 27. We left our house early and stopped by to see grandpa because we got a nail stuck in our tire. Grandpa of course was happy to see Morgan before we headed out.
Morgan enjoyed the DVD player daddy found for her. She enjoyed her Veggie Tales and took a quick little break to give mommy a picture for the books. After watching a little Veggie Tales she took a very quick power nap which only lasted about 50 minutes. Her normal nap is usually 2-3 hrs so I figured she probably was going to either take another nap or it was going to be a long day.
We stopped in Mobile after her power 50 minute nap to eat at Steak N Shake which is one of our favorites when we lived in Nashville. Morgan had more fun coloring and eating some oyster crackers then anything else. She of course didnt want her mini burger we got her.

After eating we stopped at the mall and visited a little kids shop which Morgan had so much fun in. They had her shopping cart which she did not want to leave. A video as well of her fun in the childrens store.

We left the children’s shop to go walking and visiting around to give Morgan a break. We found water and of course we had to take a pit stop since Morgan loves the water.
We got on the road and Morgan took another nap to give her a little over 2 hr nap. By the time she woke up we were almost to our condo (The Beach Club in Fort Morgan). Morgan got a cookie and really didnt care for it. It was a one bite-let me see what this tastes like.  It was a beautiful day and we stayed for a little while and relaxed and let her play a bit.
We had to go test out the playground at the condo before we went and visited Fort Morgan. Daddy took his sweet little girls hand and walked her around-so cute!

We went to visit Fort Morgan which was right down the road from us and of course Morgan had to get a picture in front of the sign that says Morgan.

We ended the day with a meal at Tacky Jack’s and looking down at the beach.

Check back each day at 8 am for a recap of our Gulf Shores beach trip.
